Today I discovered something rather exciting. If you have a PayPal account, you can register for their 'Return Shipping on PayPal' feature. Once activated, you can get up to 12 free returns per year on things you have ordered via PayPal. This is available to anybody with a PayPal account, it's completely free, and apparently you can even use it for overseas purchases. What a fabulous idea, and really helpful for small businesses like mine who just can't afford to swallow the cost of return postage if a customer wishes to send something back because it's not quite what they wanted.
This information has now been added to our Delivery and Returns page and, as I was updating the page anyway, I decided to have a trial of not charging a re-stocking fee when you return something. I've been a bit reluctant to do this in the past, because I know so many people who order loads of things online just to try them on, and then return all or most of them because it doesn't cost them anything. I'm hoping, of course, that everyone will immediately fall in love with their new goodies and would fight to the death anyone trying to take them away, but if something really isn't 'you', you can now send it back within 21 days for a full refund or exchange, and if you register for the PayPal returns services, you'll also be able to re-claim the cost of the return postage.
So, you can now order your beautiful new precious online, confident in the knowledge you can easily return her if you need to.
